San Francisco, CA – March 2025 – The Black in Gaming (BIG) Foundation is proud to announce the 8th Annual BIG Awards, a celebration of Black excellence in the gaming industry. Returning to GDC at the Children’s Creativity Museum in San Francisco, this premier event continues to recognize the outstanding contributions of Black professionals shaping the future of gaming.
Honoring the Best in Black Game Development
With the support of founding sponsor Sony Interactive Entertainment, the BIG Awards remains dedicated to uplifting and recognizing Black talent in the gaming industry. In an era where inclusivity faces ongoing challenges, BIG stands firm in celebrating the leaders and innovators who are making gaming more diverse, accessible, and groundbreaking.
